Tables, not divs
Classic Outlook renders email with Word, which ignores flexbox, grid and most CSS. A table with inline styles is the only layout every client agrees on.

Add your details and logo, pick a template, copy. A clean HTML signature that survives Outlook, Gmail and Apple Mail, built in your browser in about two minutes.
Upload a PNG with a transparent background, or link to a logo already on your website.
Or drag and drop, or paste an image. Resized in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Recommended for Gmail, which only keeps hosted images.
Heads up for Gmail: an uploaded file is embedded in the signature, which Outlook and Apple Mail keep but Gmail drops. For Gmail, link to a logo on your website instead.

Hi Marcus,

Set-up
Copy from the preview above, then paste it into the signature editor. Pick your client.
Gmail only keeps images that are hosted at a web address. If you uploaded a logo file, switch to the link to a logo option before copying, or your logo will not appear.
New Outlook syncs signatures to your account, so the same signature appears on every device signed in to that mailbox.
Prefer a file? Click Download .htm, then drop the file into %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Signatures. Outlook lists it next time you open the Signatures dialog.
Mail on iPhone and iPad only keeps plain text. Server-side tools like UnifySig add the signature after you press send, so phones get the same one as desktops.
Under the hood
Most broken signatures share the same four mistakes. The templates avoid all of them, the same rules the UnifySig product enforces.
Classic Outlook renders email with Word, which ignores flexbox, grid and most CSS. A table with inline styles is the only layout every client agrees on.
Every image carries an explicit width and height and, for Gmail, lives at a real web address. No background images, nothing that depends on a download.
Web fonts never load in email. Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, Tahoma, Trebuchet and Georgia look right on every operating system without a fallback surprise.
Narrow enough for a phone, large enough to read. Empty fields collapse so nobody gets a stray “Mobile:” with nothing after it.
For IT teams
Copying a signature onto every laptop works until the first title change, the first new starter, the first phone. UnifySig connects to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, fills each signature from your directory and applies it to every mailbox server-side. Design it once, assign by group, done.
FAQ
Yes and no. It is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no time limit. It is our way of introducing UnifySig to people who look after email for a team. If you only need one signature, that is the whole story.
Nowhere. The signature is built in your browser and remembered on this device so you can come back to it. Nothing is sent to us unless you use Email me this signature, in which case we send it to the address you enter and keep that address so we can follow up about UnifySig for your team. See the privacy policy.
Gmail drops images that are embedded in the signature itself and only keeps images hosted at a web address. Use the link to a logo option and point it at a PNG on your website. Outlook and Apple Mail are happy with an uploaded file.
Classic Outlook on Windows renders email with Word, which ignores rounded corners and some spacing. The templates are built with tables and inline styles so the layout stays the same; only small details like corner radius fall back. That is normal for every email signature.
Email clients do not load web fonts, so a signature should stick to fonts every computer has. The generator offers Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, Tahoma, Trebuchet and Georgia for that reason. If your brand font is not on the list, pick the closest and use your logo for the brand feel.
Icons are images, and images in signatures must be hosted somewhere that will still exist next year. Rather than serve them from our site, the templates use text links, which always render and never break. UnifySig customers get hosted icon sets and banners as part of the product.
Come back to this page on the same browser and it is still here. Or use Email me this signature: the email includes a link that reopens your details in the generator.
Copying a signature onto every laptop, phone and shared mailbox does not scale, and it drifts the moment someone changes their title. UnifySig connects to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, fills each signature from your directory and applies it to every mailbox server-side. One template, done once. Get notified when it launches.
Leave your work email and we will send one message when the service is fully live, with early-access pricing for the first cohort.
